The Top of the South music group “Rural Mail”
Roger Lusby and Paul Bond with their wives Deirdre and Chris have created a music group dedicated to New Zealand ballads and folklore.
This cohesive quartet, whose enjoyment of New Zealand song and verse is always at the forefront of their performances, can make you laugh and weep, but above all, your entertainment is guaranteed.
Roger Lusby, now a resident of Appleby Nelson, was born and grew up in the rich gold country of Central Otago. Involved in music since his teenage years in a rock n roll band, Roger is a performance poet and has written and sung many songs and poems about the people and place of Otago over the last 40 years.
Paul Bond is a multi instrumentalist and first rate entertainer who has been writing and performing many songs about the Nelson area, performing in various groups. Paul is renowned for his wit and resonant tenor voice. Both Roger and Paul have recorded albums which will be available for sale.
